Cookies & browser storage
Last updated 19 October 2026
What browser storage does on Kartfern and on merchant stores.
Essential storage
Kartfern uses cookies and browser storage for functions such as sign-in, workspace selection, carts and security. Some settings are stored in local storage rather than cookies. Blocking or clearing this storage can sign you out or remove saved preferences.
Optional store analytics
A merchant may configure analytics such as Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity. Optional store tracking is gated by the store’s analytics consent choice. Available tools depend on that store’s settings. Review the store’s privacy policy for its own use of analytics.
Managing your choices
Where a merchant enables optional analytics, use the cookie choice presented by the store. You can also use the store’s cookie settings control where provided. Browser controls let you clear or block site storage; clearing it may cause the consent prompt to appear again.
Marketing website
The Kartfern marketing website does not currently load Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity tags. When the regional India badge is enabled, a server-side IP country lookup decides whether to show it; this is described in our privacy policy.
Third-party pages
Payment providers and other services you open may apply their own cookies and privacy policies. Kartfern’s storage choices do not control those external websites.
